Dr. Anthony Llamas earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine/surgery, followed by a one-year specialty internship in cardiology at the VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital. He then completed a three-year residency in cardiology at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital. Dr. Llamas became a diplomate (Board Certified Cardiologist) of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2022. His clinical interests include interventional therapy of congenital heart diseases, emergency and chronic management of congestive heart failure.
